What a week!

Hello, all!

It's been a BUSY week for both Britt and me. We had final critiques for our Design class so we had several nights in row where we only got 1-2 hours of sleep....however, it's over and tomorrow is SPRING BREAK! We both look forward to going home, writing papers, and getting lots of things worked out for Relay...which is (scary-but exciting!) only 21 days away?!?! Where has all the time gone?

In other news. ..

We are ridiculously excited that we have almost $11,000!!!!!!!!!!
Don't forget to ask all your family and friends from home for donations over spring break :)

We had our second "Purple Thursday" in March. If a committee member sees you wearing purple on any Thursday in March, you get a Relay Buck which can be spend on different goodies at the Relay event April 3. You can also go to Kanbar 311 sporting your purple and they'd be happy to give you a Relay Buck.

Another aspect of purple Thursdays is the tabling we have in Kanbar during the activities period. Today Genevieve, Britt, and Miles took turns manning the table and selling Luminaria and shirts. The shirts are AWESOME and designed by PhilaU's very own graphic design student, Lindsay Beach. You can stop by our table on any Thursday from 11am-1pm in Kanbar or go to Kanbar 311 at any time to purchase one for $12. THEN you can put it on and get a Relay Buck ;)

We also held a faculty dress down day today. Tickets were $5 and we heard many reports of faculty and staff sporting their jeans and purple ribbons! :) Thanks to all who bought a ticket!

Well, that's all for now. Still recovering from my busy week, plus I need to pack for spring break.
Just wanted to give you a quick update of all things Relay this week.

Keep fundraising and tell all your friends to register!!
It's easy and it's going to be so much fun!

Have a lovely weekend, everyone!
